COFFEE and DESSERTS available from 10.30am prior to the 11am Tour (Tour cost is $12 Adults $8 Children 5-12 years under 5 are free)
Lunch service commencing from 11.30am where you can enjoy the freshest of the freshest local ingredients prepared to perfection.

Cookabarra is a modern Australian / Mediterranean cuisine with a twist as the Restaurant is attached to our very own Barramundi and Hydroponic Vegetable farm growing fresh produce on-site. Whether you are looking for a place to celebrate an occasion, taking a break on a road trip or just a casual get together, you will find the Cookabarra Restaurant at Bobs Farm an ideal location that is very central to Newcastle, Raymond Terrace & Nelson Bay .
We Offer two dining areas that cater for all weather conditions, there is a large inside air-conditioned area with very large glass bi-fold doors that allows you to still enjoy the view of the peaceful farm setting in comfort. The second area is a very large balcony that adjoins. We can accommodate meals for large function groups and our friendly experienced staff will make your visit one to remember. Cookabarra centre is available any evening for private functions, comfortably catering for 300+ people for any kind of event. For larger groups please contact us to discuss your function.
We run 2 x Barramundi Farm Tours per day the 1st is at 11:00am & the 2nd is at 2:00pm duration of about an hour. (closed Tuesdays) WE REQUEST THAT YOU BOOK IN ADVANCE FOR TOUR TIMES PLEASE TO HAVE YOUR TOUR GUIDE AVAILABLE.
Fresh fish can always be purchased by ordering in advance the day before and MAY BE available on the day but not guaranteed IF NOT ORDERED (Cleaned whole fish $16 ea or 2 for $30- fresh fillets are $45per kg there usually 5 to 6 pieces in a kg

The restaurant is surrounded by a moat like pond that provides great entertainment for all the kids as they are able to feed the fish that live in these ponds "Koi Carp" Relax with cold beverage a glass of wine $11 or a beer $9.50 it all makes for an interesting and fun day out.
