Cookabarra Restaurant provides a secluded wedding venue in Port Stephens the Restaurant sits on 48 acres of lush farmland the venue provides you and your guests with some privacy and allows many different entertainment options, from having a live band or DJ, you can even have your own fireworks display to mark your most special occasion or you could even arrive by Helicopter!
Ceremony
Wide open veranda set in a garden setting and surrounded by a tranquil pond that is filled with water lilies and fish, you are able to add your personal touch from flowers to floating candles to make your ceremony special.
While your guests take in the ambiance over some bubbly, you and your wedding party have the opportunity to utilise our surrounds for your memorable photographs.
Reception
Cookabarra can comfortably seat 160 guests inside and during the warm season the reception room opens onto a large covered veranda through concertina doors giving room for an additional 100 guests to be seated in comfort , Cookabarra is surrounded by a tranquil pond that is home to 300+ Barramundi great entertainment for your guests and children, The grounds provide many great photo opportunities as can be seen within our photo gallery whether it be a small intimate wedding, or a larger wedding of 260, our experienced staff can tailor a package that will suit any dream.
